About Us
We are the UF Chapter, a.k.a the “Gator Chapter”, of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
Led by a group of hardworking individuals, the Gator Chapter of NSBE are revitalizing NSBE at UF. Events, opportunities, connections, team building, academic success, and support are what we aim to provide for NSBE members.
This is the start of a new era of NSBE at UF. We’re building a better foundation for future Black Gator engineers.
NSBE’S VISION
We envision a world in which engineering is a mainstream word in homes and communities of color, and all Black students can envision themselves as engineers. In this world, Blacks exceed parity in entering engineering fields, earning degrees, and succeeding professionally.
Chapter's VISION
We envision an organization full of Black students who can see one another as family. Within this family, we know we can rely on each other for help, guidance, support, and a shoulder to lean on. Because of our unity, there's a strong bond between each and every member of our Gator Chapter.
